IC Engineering has a Utilities Solutions unit who have specialists in the design, construction, maintenance and supply of overhead transmission lines and underground cabling.
IC Engineering Civil Engineering and Engineering Services units are able to be involved in the design, construction and equipping of power stations of all types – from nuclear through to gas fired, oil, coal, wind and hydro-powered.

 
We are able to supply power transmission and distribution networks to our local power supply industry as we have specialist teams in the design, construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution services.

 
IC Engineering will always strive to find long-term solutions for our clients, we will continue our conventional power supply work by providing market-leading project management, design, installation, testing and commissioning for major substation, electrical infrastructure and traction projects.
In addition, we are capable of providing reactive and planned maintenance, and upgrades on non-infrastructure assets across South Africa. Our professional services division works on water and wastewater projects, including water supply, conveyance and pioneering wastewater treatment projects in major urban areas and rural communities around South Africa.
These range from small, specialist facilities to large, complex, multi-disciplinary hospitals. We secure work through new procurement models, such as the Government's public private partnerships (PPP), as well as traditional contracting methods.
